Friends Marathon!

We've had this idea for a while, and now it's time to make it happen! This is what Friends Marathon is about:
There's a season section on this forum, with a topic for each episode. What Friends Marathon is about: we're gonna RE-WATCH every single Friends episode TOGETHER, and then discuss them in their particular thread!

Every day, we're gonna watch ONE Friends episode, starting from the very first one, the pilot. RE-WATCHING ONE EPISODE WILL TAKE 24 HOURS. In those 24 hours, everyone is going to watch the same episode and while watching it/after watching it, come here and talk about it: talk about their favorite quotes, what the characters are wearing, the plot, possible mistakes and so on. It's a great way to unite Friends fans and to experience something TOGETHER, right? Maybe we'll help each other notice something we haven't noticed before, or appreciate some moments more than we used to. We're basically going to talk and laugh and analyze each episode together!

** of course, all of this doesn't mean you can't watch any other episode or that you can't comment in the threads of the episodes we've seen or anything, you're free to watch whatever you want and comment in whatever thread you want.

OCTOBER 3RD 09:00 AM UTC: S01E03: The One with the Thumb

The marathon will last 236 days; we will rewatch every single episode from the very first to the last one. We hope many of you will participate and if there are any questions, any issues with the date, time or anything, feel free to ask us!

^^ YES!! We will have the whole day to watch it, and discuss it as we watch it! So you can watch at any time as long as it's on THAT day! smile

And even when it ends - the discussion can proceed of course, but we'll mainly concentrate on the episode we're supposed to watch that day and so on, you get the point. I'M JUST SO EXCITED!!

If we miss a day and watch both episodes, we can still discuss it in the previous episode's thread, right?

Yeah, of course! That's the whole point, to talk about the episodes - it doesn't matter when, having a schedule is just a part of it that we needed to come up with in order to organize everything. :) There are so many episode people may have even forgotten, this is a great way to re-watch them and share opinions and talk about them.

I love this idea! I always wanted to know what people were thinking when they first watched all the episodes while the show was airing, and of course I want to give my opinion too.

Yay, I'll try to do this though I'm not online much so I might miss some but nevermind. I haven't watched them all since I got my boxset so I can see all the deleted scenes while watching alll the seasons through :)
