Mondler

This is where you discuss Mondler!

What I will say first is that they are my favorite couple. Haha :) Later I will gladly discuss waaay in detail what I think of them. :D

I love Mondler! They're not perfect but they just belong together! And they are really good friends but I kinda think that sometimes Monica doesn't deserve Chandler. She just always wants to be the best at everything and she wants everything to be hers, she doesn't like to share. She wants everybody to play by her rules... And sometimes I just feel like she doesn't respect Chandler as much as she should! He is so selfless and kind and he really loves her, and I respect him so much for that! But she does love him and of course, he loves her too. They accept each other the way they are and I guess that's the only important thing! :D I was really sad that they couldn't have kids... But they worked it out because they're AWESOME! <3

The funny thing is that in my personal relationship with my boyfriendd I always feel like Mondler, just that... I'm Chandler and he is Monica, seriously, we are a lot like them.

But much after this relation, Mondler always was my favorite ship.

Exactly! Whenever my boyfriend and I watch Friends together, he always pokes me at stuff like that lol and asks if the writers called me to ask my permission to base Monica's character off me haha. I'm not as OTT as she is of course, but we're very similar. My boyfriend is very sarcastic and witty and Chandler-like (my sense of humour irl is the same, actually) so like Bing-a-Ling, looks like we have a few sets of irl Mondlers here!

I agree that Monica doesn't always treat Chandler as well as she could. He's always so sweet and there for her, and I know that when she's 'mean' to him it's just for comedic effect, but Chandler's my favourite and I don't like to see him treated anything less than perfectly! haha. When it all comes down to it though, I love them together and am glad they got together, especially after the episodes at the beach. Definitely my OTP (that actually happened) in the show!

Definitely the best thing about the show, and the fact that they still have fans 7 years after the show ended proves my point.
The thing about mondler if that you know they would never hurt eachother, or be mad at eachother for too long, they aren't as proud as Ross and Rachel.

From the first time I started watching the show Mondler were my favorite. I remember that the proposal episode was one of the first episodes I saw on TV and I just thought it was so beautiful and romantic. I cry every time I watch that scene, but I just loved them together and Chandler is my favorite too, so I just always wanted him to be happy and they found that in each other. I love how they help balance each other and yes I do agree with what others have said, Monica didn't always treat Chandler the greatest, but I think a lot of it was for the laughs and he knew how Monica was, but he still loved her. "You knew this about me when you married me, you agreed to take me in sickness and in health. Well this is my sickness!" I love how stable they are and they may not always have fights and go through as much drama as Ross and Rachel, but I still think they are a very realistic couple and I would love to have a relationship like theirs someday. <3

Monica loved Chandler, but sometimes it seemed to me like she thought she possessed him. And, like, if Chandler did all the tiny annoying things she did, she'd be all LOL U SUK. That's what I hated about Monica.

ugh there's nothing not to love about Chandler, that's why I wanted to choke Mon to death at times. Even though I love her.

They are the best couple on the show. They're realistic, friends, support each other and go over silly problems. That's why I love Mondler.
At least for me, I would love a relationship where we could be as much friends as lovers. My favorite scene with them is in TO After Ross Says "Rachel", when they finally realize the London thing was going to continue and they were crazy about each other. Everything about that scene is perfect. The smiles, the high-five and of course, the kiss. My favourite scene in season 5.

You know, I'm kinda obsessed with Mondler, so I'll post in details some other time (or else I'll write all night long here and it's already 2:00Am here in Brazil!). You guys said everything, they are just the best, in EVERY aspect. One of my dreams is to have a Monica for my self Chandler!

Monica and Chandler were awesome together. Chandler grounded Monica (or at least tried to) when she'd go overboard, and she helped him become a committed, responsible adult. They grew together, they compromised or talked out their issues, and they had a very comfortable, sweet relationship. I totally agree that they were realistic, and that bit of them high-fiving each other after Chandler says, "Call it even?" was fantastic.

Oh, the Mondler high-fives, so cute! They really completed each other and looked so perfect together.

Damn, I want a realtionship like theirs.

Not weird at all. :D I think all guys should have Chandler as their role model.

By the way, I was just watching the thanksgiving episode of season 5 and I have to say... How cute it is the fact that Monica had a crush on Chandler when they met?

can I just say I love season 9 mondler? they're the sweetest, specially during the tulsa arc.

Oh, it's true. That's a really cute MM (Mondler Moment).
Chandler does/talks way more cute things to/for Monica than she does... So it's great to watch these little moments when she is being all cute to him. <3

Totally agree! I love when she gets to be cute to him, which she should do more often. But yes, I know it's just her personality.
