1.03 The One with the Thumb

Summary:

Chandler starts smoking again after he helps Joey learn to smoke for an audition. Monica is apprehensive about introducing a guy she's dating to the group because they are normally mean, but they end up loving him. Phoebe's bank accidentally gives her an additional $500. When she tries to correct it, they give her another $500 for her trouble. In attempt to get rid of the unearned cash, she gives the money to a homeless woman, who insists on buying her a soda. Phoebe then finds a thumb in her soda and the soda company compensates her with $7,000. She ends up giving Chandler the money if he promises to quit smoking.

funny how phoebe won't accep the mpney and there's this episode from season 9 where she says - Come on people, how do I know who I like the most if I don't know ho makes the most?

Chandler smoking IS sexy, even though I don't like smoking in general :P
And Rachel using a cap is cute <3

I like how in this episode we see more of Phoebe and her way of seeing things.

I hate his season 1 hair!!! I don't think he had homosexual hair like Pheebs did (hahaha), but it's ugly! And I also don't like smoking Chandler!

This episode is one of my first memories of watching the show!

and ikr? And you can actually see how much she has changed. They obviously wanted her to be a complete freak which she really was, and then you see her adapting to the other 5 a bit, in the last season she is completely different than this.

This show really showed us what 10 years can do to you...

I've always said it, a guy who smokes AND hates dog woould be like... my most hated person in real life. But I just can't hate chandler.

That's is very true!
But I like to believe that Chandler didn't smoke anymore. Hahaha Aaaand, he is not all hate when it comes to dogs... He actually was able to make friends with that dog that Phoebe was hiding on their apartment. So he is good. <3

hahaha, I totallly understand ross tho... I'm not very crazy about ice-cream either. It makes me thirsty and doesn't taste that great. The only flavor I like is mcdonald's vanilla.

Just watched it! Loved the part where Chandler talks about accepting their flaws which starts this huge argument among them while he just walks away smoking. The part that Monica tells them that she's breaking up with Alan was really funny too.

Chandler is gold in this one! This is a really good Pheobe episode too, I really like how her personality is presented even though it's true that she changes a lot.
