What did you think of Monica's cleanliness?

I LOVED the fact that Monica was so obsessed with cleaning!! It was just hilarious! It may be seen as crazy, but I loved it! And I loved the episode when they revealed her closet of stuff that she didn't know where to put! I sometimes act like her, which I love haha!

But what did you guys think of it? Was it too much or not?

Of course it was too much! But that's what makes Monica, Monica! It was fun to watch but I don't know if I could handle living with someone as neurotic as her.

Oh, it made her soo cute! And the closet episode is really funny! I just never got Chandler's joke about it, when he sings a song (making an impression of someone I guess)... I think that's probably because it's a joke related to something or someone from the US...

... anyway, the cleanliness is the Monica's characteristic I have, I must confess!

It's endearing. I like to think I have a quality from each of the Friends, and I have Monica's OCD.

Cute sometimes, annoying others. But I like the fact she knew it was annoying, but couldn't help it, hehe. The episode of the shoes in the living room is great and one of my very first memories of the show.

That's actually part of what makes her personality so cute, that she knows how annoying she can be sometimes hahaha but man, I love her!

I just think she's cute and funny, and I totally understand her

I think it's fine that she was like that, I was glad when Chandler decided to clean the house for her that she didn't flip out on him. It's nice that she saw his heart and his true intentions and putting that first instead of her obsessiveness about things being a certain way.

BTW this episode from season 6 is one of my all time favourites! If I was Monica I would fall in love with him all over again when he did that!

Sometimes she'd just take it too far but it was cute I guess. In the end, that's what made her Monica, right?

I guess you're right! Actually, I think she gets soo cute when she's obssessed! Hehe I'm just... weird.

That is very true. I think it was the most sweet thing ever! They way she thought that what he did was cute and sweet even though she didn't do it right. <3

My mother is REALLY exactly like Monica when it comes to cleaness and I can say that it is a bit annoying sometimes when you live with a person like that, but it is much cuter than it is annoying anyway.
I love how emotional she got when Rachel made a mess not to go to the eye doctor. Hahaha

hahahahaha then she comes back almost crying "Chandler!!" hahahaha so cute.

I am the polar opposite of Monica in this aspect haha. She would probably come round with her cleaning stuff like with the dirty girl if she saw my room my sister is just like her though. She always tidies up when she comes round. You'll put something down and she'll put it in it's right place within a second :P

I'm so like Monica. I hate messes, I just can't leave it, I would have to get up and clean it up, if it was mine or someone else's, i clean it up! lol. I also like to be really organized. My books on my shelf are arranged from my favorite to my least favorites. My Disney tapes are in alphabetical order, yes I still have mine, and my DVDs are also arranged from favorite to least favorite. I don't know, but that's just easier for me. My mom is the exact same way, so that's probably where I got that from. lol

But Monica's cleanliness just makes her, her. Before she was adult, she wasn't like it. It also happens as you get older too. My older sister wasn't so OCD about cleaning until she had her own apartment. I mean she likes the remote in one spot at all times. She has everything where she wants, and when you move it, you have to put it back where you got it. lol.

So as you see, as Monica got older and started to lose weight and take care of herself, she developed a little OCD. But it doesn't make her a bad person or crazy. That's just her. And that's okay. At least someone out the friends is organized and clean. lol

Right! To be clean and organize shouldn't be considered that bad!

Every day it passes I'm more like Monica about cleaning! ¬¬ Lately I can't stand being around a dirt and disorganized house... but I guess, I'll never reach her standards haha
